Nothing can be more devastating of a natural force as a Hurricane. Due to their potential to ravage any place upon landfall and unpredictability, hurricanes are one of the most feared forces of nature in the world. On the record, hurricanes have been one of the most devastating natural occurrences and have damaged properties and claimed countless lives all across the United States.
Hurricanes in the Atlantic occur mostly in a period of time known as the Hurricane Season. The season spans from May up until the later months of the Year. On a worldwide scale, hurricanes do start forming at the early period of summer up until late winter and their size and intensity will depend greatly on the season.
However, this does not mean that there is no way that one can prepare for them and prevent the worst from happening. Thankfully, there are countless ways one can prevent damage to property and, more importantly, the loss of lives during the hurricane season. However, this would mean that one must fully understand how hurricanes work, behave, and what their usual trajectories are. Most of all, one must gain an understanding how a hurricane is born in the first place.
